Programs
Health Improvement Institute establishes program to achieve the organization's purpose. Our current and planned programs include the following, for example:
- Awards of Excellence
- Quality of health information on the Internet
- Health website ratings project
- Forums on emerging treatments and issues — to promote communications among patients, providers, payors, purchasers, and policy-makers.
- Workshops — to explore important health topics within the Institute's scope and interest.
- Health systems research — to support and conduct projects designed to provide information to improve health care decision-making.
- Health Choices — a television program series designed to illustrate the impact of private health care decisions on public policy and the impact of public policy on private health care decisions (in development).
