Health Website Ratings (HWR) project: Phase-I plan
The purpose of Phase-I of the health website rating (HWR) project was to assess criteria sets for evaluating health websites. This work, completed in 2003, permitted the Institute to identify existing sets of criteria for evaluating health websites, preparatory to developing an instrument to rate such websites for purposes of the HWR project.
In April 2003, the Institute's founder/president presented the Phase-I results at the Consumer Reports WebWatch conference, "Building trust on the web."
