She has made several outstanding contributions to, and her activities have had a demonstrable impact on, advancing the protection of human subjects in research.

• Dr. Robert J. Levine, Yale University, New Haven, CT, Dr. Robert J. Levine has worked in the field of protection of human subjects for over 35 years. He has contributed to the literature of the field of protection of human research subjects by publishing over 200 articles, one major monograph and by founding and for 21 years editing IRB: A Review of Human Subjects Research.
